Privacy Policy

PriceCrew LLC ("PriceCrew," "we," "us," or "our") operates PriceCrew, a pricing and estimating tool for contractors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. Name, email address, company name, and password (stored in hashed form) when you create an account. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your billing details directly — we do not store full card numbers.

Price Book and project data. Pricing data, cost lists, supplier/material information, job estimates, and related content you upload or create in the Service ("Customer Data"). This data belongs to you (see Section 5 of the Terms of Service).

Usage data. Information about how you use the Service — pages visited, features used, device and browser type, IP address, and timestamps — collected automatically to help us operate, secure, and improve PriceCrew.

Communications. Messages you send us through support channels, the contact form, or email.

Team data. If you invite team members to a Crew plan, we collect the names and email addresses you provide for those invitations.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (e.g., calculating estimates, storing your Price Book, syncing across your devices);
• Process subscription payments and manage billing;
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests;
• Send product updates or promotional messages (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time — see Section 6);
• Monitor for security issues, fraud, and abuse;
• Understand aggregate usage trends to improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information or your Price Book data to third parties.

3. Who We Share Information With

• Service providers. Vendors who help us run the Service, such as our cloud hosting provider and Stripe for payment processing. These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are contractually restricted from using it for other purposes.
• Future integrations. If you choose to connect optional third-party integrations (for example, accounting or job-management tools such as QuickBooks Online or Jobber, when available), the data you authorize will be shared with that third party under its own terms. These integrations are opt-in.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PriceCrew, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers. If PriceCrew is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy (or a policy at least as protective).

We never sell Customer Data or personal information for advertising purposes.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• We retain your account information and Customer Data for as long as your account is active.
• If you cancel your subscription, you may export your Price Book data for at least 30 days afterward. After that period, we will delete or anonymize your Customer Data, except where we need to retain limited records for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below; we will honor the request within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention requirements.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in any such email. You will still receive essential account and billing communications.
• Access and correction. You can review and update your account information in your account settings, or by contacting us.
• Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and personal data as described in Section 4.
• California and other state privacy rights. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA). • EU/UK/GDPR (if applicable). If you access the Service from the EU or UK, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. We process personal data on the basis of contract performance (providing the Service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service). 7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Service may use cookies or similar local storage technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand basic usage analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

PriceCrew is intended for business use by adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the relevant age of consent in your jurisdiction).

9. International Users

PriceCrew is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before the changes take effect.
